Town Manager—Susan Sanderford: Susan has served as a San Luis Town Trustee in 2012 - 2013 and 2016 - April of 2018. Her public service also includes serving on the Town of San Luis and the Costilla County Planning and Zoning Commitees. Susan is a Grief Counselor, and Co-Executive Director of a San Luis non-profit “Casa de Santa Maria.” She has 35 years experience as a graphic artist, which includes newspapers, technical illustration and website design. An entrepeuner at heart—Susan has resided in San Luis since August of 2006.

Town Clerk—Employment Opportunity
The Town of San Luis is seeking applicants to fill the position of Town Clerk. This position works under the general direction of the Town Manager and the Mayor and Board of Trustees to perform a variety of administrative, financial, office and clerical tasks. Principal duties include assistance with all aspects of the billing and payment process; receiving money, processing deposits and checks. This position also provides administrative support for the Mayor, Trustees and Town Manager as needed. Position has considerable direct contact with the public and must provide quality customer service with a positive attitude. Proficiency with Quick Books, Microsoft Excel and Word a must. Received a J.D. degree with Whittier Law School in Coasta Mesa, California. Has been a private practice attorney since 1999.
