Each regular election is held on the first Tuesday in April in the even-numbered years, and all special elections called by the Board of Trustees for any purpose, shall be in the manner prescribed by the Colorado Municipal Election Code. The Town may by ordinance determine to follow all or part of the provisions of the Uniform Election Code of 1992 for any election.

NOTICE OF GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION
I, Mary Jo Manzanares, Clerk of the Town of San Luis, Colorado, DO HEREBY GIVE PUBLIC NOTICE of a General Municipal Election for Mayor and Board of Trustee members to be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at which time there will be elected a Mayor and five members of the Board of Trustees. Each position shall be voted upon by the entire electorate of the Town.
The candidate for mayor who receives the greatest number of votes shall be elected. The candidates for Trustees receiving the greatest number of votes shall be elected, (3 to serve terms of four years and 2 with least number of votes will serve
